Artist's Statement
The primary focus of my work is to reveal intimate visual, rather than verbal, narratives. Using drawing, photography, printmaking and sculpture I explore personal, psychological, historical and spiritual concerns. Time and memory are essential aspects of my oeuvre.
I work in blocks of time. My preference is to have enough time and space to investigate in both two and three dimensions simultaneously. I enjoy having the resulting works be in conversation with each other. Most often, however, I ‘m not able to work this way, rather I revisit themes cyclically exploring them in different media over a period of time.
